Pediatric Brain Cancer Fundraiser

I got pulled into Hogs through my coworkers at Ochsner. They are some of the frontline workers working directly with families who battle pediatric brain cancer.
My mom was diagnosed with colon cancer and after a yearlong battle, passed away in 2024. Being the stereotypical Asian tiger mom, she was never fully proud of anything I did, in part because I never lived up to her dreams of me becoming a doctor. But weeks before she passed, she did admit that my participation in Hogs was a bright spot in my life, and that I was doing a good thing.
So inspired by my friends and colleagues, and in memory of my mom, I participate in this amazing event every year to try to leave the world a little bit brighter than how I found it.
Your contribution makes a tangible impact on the families that have to go through this terrible ordeal. Through my teammates at Ochsner, I have met some of the most courageous young souls and their families, and have witnessed how your generous dollars help them in a dark time. Thank you for your consideration and donation.
