Childhood cancer is a health crisis. One that capriciously imposes an emotional and financial burden that no family should bear alone.

At Hogs for the Cause, we aim to ease those burdens and provide families with more than just a place to stay. We offer critical support, both financially and emotionally, through grants for families, housing at Hogs Houses, and cutting-edge medical units. And Hogs for the Cause just made its biggest commitment in Texas, a $2 million capital commitment to Children’s Health to support the expansion of Children’s Medical Center Plano. Consistent with its BBQ roots, Hogs for the Cause is expanding its reach with the launch of the Trail of Barbecue. This nationwide partnership connects barbecue restaurants with its mission to provide care, comfort, and critical resources for families facing pediatric cancer.

The Hogs for the Cause mission includes advancing pediatric cancer research to ensure that every child has the chance to survive and thrive.

Help Maria and I make a difference in the lives of families nationwide. We have personally witnessed the devastation that childhood brain cancer can cause. We experienced this while attending our very first Hogs Festival when a dear friend lost her granddaughter. Since then we have been committed to helping.
