Again this year Helen and I along with our entire family and many friends will work as a team named Mr. Pig Stuff. This is our 9th year to work with Hogs for the Cause to help raise funds to support what we think is an excellent mission. Hogs for the Cause is a fun filled weekend with over 90 teams participating in a BBQ cooking competition and being entertained by over 20 bands. The event is held at UNO Lakefront Arena on April 10 & 11. Since we be began participating our team has raised nearly $1 million dollars thanks to friends and family like you. As we approach this years event we ask that you consider helping us to reach our 2026 goal of raising $150,000.

Childhood cancer is not just a health crisis – it’s a financial burden that no family should bear alone. At Hogs for the Cause, we’re providing families with more than just a place to stay. We’re offering critical support, both financially and emotionally, through grants for families, housing at Hogs Houses, and cutting-edge medical units like our HemOnc units, which we’re expanding across the country to bring state-of-the-art care to those who need it most.

Our mission also includes advancing pediatric cancer research to ensure that every child has the chance to survive and thrive.
