We’re the Crescent City Couyons Social Aid & Cooking Club — a highly organized group of questionably organized people dedicated to good food, cold drinks, bad decisions, and helping a damn good cause.
Once again, the Couyons are firing up the pits for Hogs for the Cause, raising money to help families battling pediatric brain cancer.
And while we may not agree on the proper way to cook a hog, how much seasoning is too much seasoning, or whose turn it is to buy the beer, there’s one thing every Couyon agrees on:

That’s what Hogs is all about. Behind all the BBQ, music, costumes, cold beer, and general foolishness are families facing something no family should have to face. The money we raise helps ease their financial burden so they can spend less time worrying about bills and more time focused on their children.
